This was my first time visiting this location. I’ve always gone to another Marble Slab location in Houston and have never had a bad experience. Unfortunately, the customer service here was disappointing. The employee did not greet us and came across as very cold and unfriendly. When I asked if my friend could use my rewards account since she doesn’t have one and is not a regular Marble Slab customer, the employee immediately said no and told her she needed to create her own account. This was surprising because my family has used the same rewards account before without any issues at other locations. The interaction felt rude and unwelcoming.

0 stars…I am honestly still irritated thinking about my experience at Marble Slab Creamery on Walden Rd in Beaumont Tx. I walked in respectful, greeted the employee, asked how her day was and everything. I ordered cheesecake ice cream (my favorite in the world), so excited tasted it, and immediately sensed something was off. She (the employee an older Indian looking lady) saw my face. I tried it a few more times which I hated to do but I strongly DID NOT want to complain, just to be sure I wasn’t tripping, but that AFTERTASTE is what really got me. It hit and I knew right then it was spoiled. No question. When I calmly told her, she kept insisting it was “fresh.” Mam I’m not sure how “fresh” you THINK it is, something in that mix was BAD. It’s dairy. I’m not about to risk getting sick just to go along with that. Now here’s where it gets ridiculous, no apology, no concern, no customer service at all. Instead, she tells me I would have to PAY for another one. Excuse me?? Pay again for something that was clearly spoiled?? And I hadn’t even left or finished the transaction yet. I even asked if I could get a different flavor. She STILL insisted that I had to pay. I’m baffled at this

I had a horrible experience here. Right before walking out the door, the ice cream cup fell in the floor. The very rude lady who made the ice cream was very frustrated that it dropped. I cleaned it up, obviously, then asked if there was any way if she could make another one. She said she will only make it if it’s paid for again. I myself being in the service industry, have never once heard of someone having to pay again for food that was accidentally dropped or messed up. The lady had an immediate attitude upon arrival. I was not greeted, or should I say I was greeted with a stank face.she was extremely rude. and she was very angry at the get go, and took my order with much hostility. I came around 2-2:15 on Friday march 27. Safe to say I will not be returning.

Came in and ordered a banana split. For $10. When she put toppings on she just put hot fudge( and not much of it) over the entire banana split.No other topping choices or toppings at all. Never had a banana split made with just one topping. Don't order it or u will be disappointed

I had a Fudge Brownie Sundae, which was pretty good. However, the ice cream was better than the brownie though. My husband had a Snickers Shake, which he said was not thick enough. Our son had a Strawberry 🍓 Shake and he enjoyed it. When we arrived, there was no one inside waiting, which can be a good thing, but the employee must've been working on something in the back, because she didn't come out front to help us right away. She wasn't rude, but wasn't overly friendly either. Overall, I give this location 3 stars instead of 0, because I truly like Marble Slab's ice cream in general, and because they're not too far from our home.
